Mayor: Moscow economy to reach normal level within 6 months
MOSCOW, Jul 17 (PRIME) -- Moscow’s economy will recover within six months, if nothing radical happens, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin told the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station on Friday.
“It is clear that a huge number of enterprises are in a difficult situation today, but in general we see how the situation is getting better. I am sure that if nothing radical happens, then within six months we will reach the normal development of the economy, budget and the entire sphere,” Sobyanin said.
He said the business has already begun to recover well – trade, catering, small and medium-sized businesses.
“The cash turnover of small and medium-sized businesses for the period from January 1 until today, it is around the same as last year. Active recovery is underway,” he said.
